     B1 Relativistic Time Dilation 6:44

In Physics, the idea of a traversable wormhole is an exciting one. As valid
solutions of Einstein's General Relativity, wormholes allow travel between two
points in spacetime, leading to the possibility of time travel as well as travel
to far corners of our universe in timescales we're familiar with. They can also,
however, act as bridges to neighboring universes, which is primarily where
Traversable Wormhole, the mysterious producer and label, derives their
inspiration. "Closed Time Like Curve" arouses the same otherworldly fascination
as the spacetime trajectories for which it's named. Dark, foreboding bass whirls
intermingle with far-off screeches while tight hi-hats offset the loose, heavily
delayed percussion found all over the track. There's an extreme amount of space
between the sounds here, which is characteristic of the Traversable Wormhole
sound and one reason why their records are so appealing. On the flip side things
get even weirder, as "Relativistic Time Dilation" kicks off with discordant
grinds and mind-bending interplays with various bass tones. Rolling, echoing
pings are found just above the stretched and twisted mechanical groans. "Vol. 4"
is another intriguing installment in a series that has seen Traversable Wormhole
develop a very distinct sound. There are many producers making techno as well as
its unknown producer, but none quite like whoever it may be. If it's something
different you're looking for, Traversable Wormhole should be among your first
stops.
