Artist : Nos PhillipΘ Title : Nos PhillipΘ Genre : Ambient Year : 2010 Date : 02/2010 Bitrate : VBR kbps Tracks : 03 Label : Black Atlas Source : CDDA Encoder : Lame 3.97 Length : 50:42 min Size : 53,9 MB Tracklist: ---------- 01.Deacons: Control Of The Candidate 14:20 02.Deana 12:08 03.Live At CafΘ Oto 24:14 ------- 50:42 min Second release from Nos Phillipe, appearing on the Back Atlas imprint some months after their debut for Confront. This excellent self-titled work deploys a broader palette of textures and developed scope spread over three long tracks. With 'Deacons (Control Of The Candidate)' and the 24 mintue 'Live At Cafe Oto' they incorporate a doomy streak of metal soundscaping, weaving detuned riffs in between sheets of coarse grey noise and wailing drones. The first track is the most impressive, creating a blank staring and wide open space for the ghostly happenings to occur, letting passages of Hafler Trio- esque static movement disintegrate under the impending riffs until they reveal the internal layers of scarred and blackened flesh recalling Nurse With Wound. Lovers of Badalamenti/Lynchian atmospherics find something to grip onto here. Recommended. http://www.myspace.com/nosphillipe This NFO File was rendered by NFOmation.net
