| case shows 2002, and the band released it in 2002. |

| Drop created Rain back in 1997 and same year, recorded an instrumental |
| demo called "Shadows". During summer 1998 Sin joined the band as a |
| singer and they recorded their first album "Sephiroths" at the |
| IllEctronics Studio in Lausanne, Switzerland, with producer Pascal |
| 'Undead' Geronimi. Summer 1999, Blast joined the band as rhythmic |
| guitarist followed some months later by Scowl as bass guy. After some |
| gigs in Switzerland and neighboring France, they recorded their second |
| album "Natural Order" again at IllEctronics. This album allowed them to |
| sign on French label AdipocΦre Records. This record have been well |
| acclaimed by goth/electro metal fans. Middle of 2001, Scowl left the |
| band and Burn took over his place as official Rain's bass guy. They did |
| a lot of shows in France and Switzerland but unfortunately, right after |
| the recording of "Stardust EP", which have been recorded during the |
| pre-production session of the next album, and due to personal reasons, |
| Burn left the band and has been replaced by Picasso. |
| |
| Rain recorded their third album "Starlight Extinction" at IllEctronics |
| which was released early 2002. Right after the recording Picasso left |
| the band and Burn came back. They did shows in France with bands like |
| No Return, Dew-Scented and Scarve and played many gigs with bands such |
| as Napalm Death, Immortal, Grave Digger, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, |
| Alastis, Project Pitchfork, ...End 2002, Sin left the band due to |
| musical divergences and has been replaced by Ben. They recorded the |
| "Bioactive EP again at IllEctronics, the mix took place in Drop's home |
| studio The Drone. This was also the first project mixed at The Drone. |
| The musical direction changed a lot and they felt the need to find a |
| drummer. Alex join the band and they begun the pre-production for a new |
| album, but the same year Blast left the band. |
| |
| Due to the big musical changes and the fact that Drop was the only |
| remaining member of the band's first line up, Rain decided to change |
| the band's name, Sybreed was born... |
