| | A new single from the Yellow Moon Band, whose instrumental prog | |
| | opus, Travels Into Several Remote Nations Of The World was one of | |
| | last year's most entertaining oddball releases. With this new | |
| | single the band preserve their '70s-styled, Saxondale-courting | |
| | aesthetics and launch into a sub-two-minute barnstormer in the | |
| | shape of 'Barehed', mixing muscular, bluesy riffs on both | |
| | electric and acoustic guitars and adding a few flashy, wah-wah | |
| | licks into the bargain. 'Reign' meanwhile is a little more | |
| | modern, almost passing for post-rock in places, but once the | |
| | harmonised leads and modal soloing kicks in towards the end | |
| | you're firmly back in retro prog mode. | |
