| A new artist breaks the mold: Jonathan Roy. Piercingly honest and |
| highly creative, just as he is, with his debut album WHAT IÆVE |
| BECOME. Originally from Pointe-Claire, QuΘbec, Jonathan Roy leaves |
| his hometown at the age of six with his family. His fatherÆs hockey |
| career takes him to Colorado for the next decade where he grows up |
| combining his studies and hockey. Back in QuΘbec, Jonathan joins the |
| QuΘbec Remparts hockey team in 2006, pursuing his two passions at |
| age 20: hockey and music. Attracted at first by rap music, Jonathan |
| now brings a new experience to folk rock. Greatly inspired by such |
| artists as John Mayer, Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson, Jonathan walks |
| the lonely road to delivering all the lyrics of his first album. His |
| childhood poems are transformed into songs. Life itself becomes a |
| melody: his own personal experiences, his joys and sorrows, but also |
| his friends, and their lives. The result of this reflection gives |
| birth to an incredible form of release through a healthy injection |
| of meaningful lyrics and soothing melodies that reflect JonathanÆs |
| authenticity and honesty. The title of his debut album says it all: |
| WHAT IÆVE BECOME. Thirteen songs, a young |
| singer/songwriter/composer: JONATHAN ROY. |
