Hot on the heels of the excellent Sputnik, Luna Records release a second single
from the super talented So Inagawa in the shape of the Liquid EP....

The fledgling Luna Records is rapidly gaining a reputation for quality
underground house music having drafted in a raft of fresh talent and established
names for original tracks and remixes. The recent single from So Inagawa,
Sputnik, saw massive support from the likes of Xpress 2, Solomun, Ralph Lawson
etc now this young Japanese talent follows up with wonderful Liquid EP.

Yosuke Sakurai the producer behind the So Inagawa Moniker has been producing for
the last six years recording for labels such as Minimood & Multi Vitamins, he is
also one part of the production team The Suffragettes and when not in the studio
runs Nagoyas top techno night Cabaret.

The lead cut on this excellent new EP is entitled Liquid and features the vocal
talents of Yang H Yang who lends an ethereal edge with some subtle spacey
vocals. The track is a warm mix of deep melodic elements and tight, understated
rhythms, its a simple formula but one that works incredibly well and is done
here to perfection.

Following on we have the techier sounds of Kon Air, providing a journey into the
realms of tough percussive house with a definite techno edge. Low end bass and
sparse rhythmic elements draw together with heavily effected vocal snippets to
create a deep electronic groove that is perfectly accompanied by the rich &
mellow keys, a class track through and through.

Finally Luna Records label boss Paul Bowen gets to grip with remixing Liquid and
delivers a dynamic mix with plenty of bass end and a superb skittering
percussion track. This is a great alternative mix that retains much of the
original character whilst adding its own distinct sound.

Another great release from this up and coming label that marks Luna records as
one to watch...
