            T.I. - I'm Back[Radio]
            874P-01.mp3
            (0:00 / 03:39 / C / 79 bpm / 8.68 MB / CHR)

Sure, we just lost Lil' Wayne for a year or so, but just
in time they spring T.I. from the big house. Swaggering
            over a theremin-enhanced beat, the fresh-out-the-box King
of the South swats back at haters and sounds ready to
reclaim his throne on "I'm Back", the best post-lockdown
jam since Britney's "Piece Of Me". Although he's finally
tasting freedom, however, T.I. is still looking at an
audit of his finances, drug counseling, and random
searches of his property--a lesson that crime does pay,
although getting caught certainly is an inconvenience.
Remember, guns don't kill, rappers do!
JAMIE FOXX FEAT. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE & T.I. -
            Winner[Radio]
            874P-02.mp3
            (0:02 / 04:03 / C / 91 bpm / 9.58 MB / CHR)

A major star on television ("In Living Color", "The Jamie
Foxx Show"), the big screen ("Any Given Sunday",
"Dreamgirls"), and radio (last year's "Blame It" topped
US charts), Jamie Foxx (b. Eric Bishop, Jr.) started out
as a comedian and went through years of gradually
escalating renown before winning an Oscar for his
portrayal of Ray Charles in "Ray". All that you already
know. Here's something you didn't: Professing himself a
long-time fan of country music, Foxx performed the George
Strait song "You Look So Good In Love" at Strait's Artist
of the Decade All-Star Concert. Clearly a "Winner",
Jamie' new single tips the upcoming disc "Body".
            LINDSAY LOHAN - Stuck
            874P-03.mp3
            (0:33 / 03:38 / F / 107 bpm / 8.60 MB / CHR)

Actress/teen-pop star Lindsay Lohan entered the world of
show business at the tender age of three as a model,
which led to television commercials and stints on soap
operas before Disney cast her as twins in a remake of
"The Parent Trap". Because of this early stardom Lohan's
social education was stunted, leading to drug problems,
outrageous behaviour, and lapses in etiquette, such as
how to exit an automobile without flashing the waiting
paparazzi! Although she recently took several years off
from the biz to devote time to her somehow-not-gay
lesbian affair with DJ Samantha Ronson, Double L found
time to record "Stuck", which suspiciously leaked
immediately after Lindsay slipped gossip guru Perez
Hilton a copy at his recent birthday bash.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA - Not Myself Tonight[Super Clean
            Edit]
            874P-04.mp3
            (0:01 / 03:04 / C / 120 bpm / 7.31 MB / CHR)

Christina Aguilera takes a notoriously long time between
albums--the upcoming "Bionic" is merely her fourth
English disc--but this time the artist formerly known as
Xtina had good reason: Aguilera delivered a son in
January 2008. As far back as '07 she was saying that her
follow-up to 2006's "Back To Basics" would be "short,
sweet, and completely different" and would sound
"futuristic", so she brought in less mainstream
collaborators like Goldfrapp, Le Tigre, and Ladytron to
complement the Tricky Stewarts and Polow Da Dons. Early
results? "Not Myself Tonight" is a sleek, horny mombot.
MIKE POSNER - Cooler Than Me[Radio]
            874P-05.mp3
            (0:00 / 03:35 / C / 132 bpm / 8.48 MB / CHR)

An American singer, songwriter, and producer, Mike Posner
worked with Don Cannon and DJ Benzi on his first mixtape,
"A Matter Of Time". The success of that early-'09 release
led Mike to hire Wale's manager before signing to major J
Records. Since then he's has collaborated with such
artists as Kid Cudi, Wale, Bun B, and 3OH!3. Oh, did we
mention he's still in college! Posner chose to return to
Duke University after signing his record deal, and he's
currently touring and recording on weekends. His debut
album is expected to be released in late Summer 2010,
after his appearance on this summer's Warped Tour. Sign

            GIN WIGMORE - Oh My
            874P-06.mp3
            (0:07 / 04:17 / C / 136 bpm / 10.12 MB / CHR, Hot AC)

Already a star in her native New Zealand, Virginia
Wigmore makes her global debut with the release of "Holy
Smoke", an album that shoots to bridge the gap between
neo-soul and rock & roll. On paper Gin Wigmore certainly
has the makings of a pop star: she's blonde, brazen, and
named after a liquor, even if her raspy alto sounds more
whiskey-soaked than gin-splashed. She also surrounds
herself with some of the industry's most competent
characters, from former Ryan Adams cohorts The Cardinals
(who perform every track here) to veteran hip-hop
producer Mike Elizondo. Although Wigmore is a vocalist in
the tradition of Duffy and Winehouse and The Cardinals
are a country-rock outfit, the tug-of-war creates the
            listenable tension of "Oh My".
FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS - She Likes (Bittersweet Love)
            874P-07.mp3
            (0:15 / 02:48 / C / 131 bpm / 6.69 MB / Hot AC)

            While browsing band-networking site PureVolume.com,
Forever The Sickest Kids singer Jonathan Cook
"accidentally" spent $350 that the brand-new band didn't
have to receive primo placement of a song they hadn't
written. Upon hearing the news, the rest of the group
rushed into the studio to write and record "Hey
Brittany". In an incident worthy of the "No Way!" file,
the song, once posted, triggered an eight-label bidding
war! (Universal Motown won that smackdown.). "She Likes
(Bittersweet Love)" will totally have listeners working
for "The Weekend: Friday", the band's latest EP.
CIVIL TWILIGHT - Letters From The Sky
            874P-08.mp3
            (0:22 / 04:30 / C / 74 bpm / 10.63 MB / Hot AC)

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Civil Twilight is a
power trio that draws parallels to Muse, Pilot Speed, and
other like-minded bands with impassioned vocals and
stirring, alt-rock songcraft. Brothers Andrew and Steven
McKeller were raised in a musical household, having
explored their father's jazz collection and listened to
their classically-trained mother play piano. The
McKellars spent several years practicing in church halls
and garages before graduating to the local club scene.
Moving to Los Angeles in 2005, the band received a boost
when several of their songs were featured in prime-time
television shows. That led to last year's self-titled
debut disc, which includes "Letters From The Sky".
            CARY BROTHERS - Ghost Town
            874P-09.mp3
            (0:14 / 03:43 / C / 130 bpm / 8.80 MB / Hot AC)

Wry, thoughtful singer/songwriter Cary Brothers broke
into the mainstream with the single "Blue Eyes", the
gorgeously articulate ballad from 2004's Grammy-winning,
hipster-showcasing soundtrack to "Garden State". Brothers
attended college with Zach Braff, the movie's writer,
director, and star, and after graduation both moved to
L.A., where Braff rounded out his acting rΘsumΘ and
Brothers partnered with a friend to open a small
production company that produced, among other things, the
Freddie Prinze, Jr., movie "Sparkler". Developing an
appreciation for country-folk music, Cary began playing
around Los Angeles, where he found his musical voice in
addition to co-creating The Hotel CafΘ Tour, currently in
            its fourth year.
SCOUTING FOR GIRLS - This Ain't A Love Song[Radio Edit]
            874P-10.mp3
            (0:11 / 03:07 / C / 89 bpm / 7.39 MB / Hot AC)

The whimsical indie-pop group Scouting For Girls formed
in 2005 in London, playfully modeling their name after a
scouting handbook ("Scouting For Boys") published early
in the 20th century. Members Greg Churchouse, Peter
Ellard, and Roy Stride signed with Epic Records in early
2007 and released their first single, "It's Not About
You", that June. Soon after, the band's self-titled debut
reached the top slot on the UK album charts, thanks to
the popularity of such singles as "She's So Lovely",
"Elvis Ain't Dead", and "Heartbeat". "Everybody Wants To
Be On TV" hit shelves in early April. But don't worry,
            "This Ain't A Love Song".
            RED - Ordinary World
            874P-11.mp3
            (0:15 / 04:11 / C / 65 bpm / 9.89 MB / Hot AC)

Among the most anticipated rock releases of 2009,
"Innocence & Instinct" ratcheted up Christian metal
foursome Red's fierce attack with vivid musical imagery
and intensely pounding sonic dissonance. The band chalked
up over 500 gigs on the road following their '06 debut,
earning tour spots with the likes of Papa Roach,
Sevendust, and Buckcherry. Drawing upon Dante's "Inferno"
for inspiration, the new record explores the duality of
man. Fans who drove Red's debut over the quarter-million
mark will find songs like "Ordinary World" even more
            intense and unstoppable.
JOAN ARMATRADING - This Charming Life
            874P-12.mp3
            (0:10 / 03:53 / C / 101 bpm / 9.19 MB / Hot AC)

Joan Armatrading dives headfirst into rock & roll on
"This Charming Life", which finds the venerable
singer/songwriter picking up an electric guitar and
letting it howl. Armatrading produced the disc and played
all the instruments save drums, and it represents the
toughest and most aggressive music she's recorded since
the early '80s. At 59, Armatrading is more than up to the
challenge of sharing space with the noisy guitars, and
the force of the music is fully the equal of the passion
of its songs. Nearly 40 years after the release of her
first album, "This Charming Life" leaves no doubt that
the St. Kitts native has few peers in songcraft.
            FOREIGNER - In Pieces
            874P-13.mp3
            (0:14 / 03:52 / F / 72 bpm / 9.15 MB / Hot AC)

When Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones married socialite Ann
Dexter-Jones, his band was entering their early-'80s peak
as arena-rocking hitmakers. With that union he also
inherited Dexter-Jones three' children from her previous
marriage to real-estate entrepreneur Laurence Ronson:
Mark, Samantha, and Charlotte. Nowadays it's the Ronsons
            whom the kids all know--Mark as Amy Winehouse's producer;
Samantha as Lindsay Lohan's lesbian soul mate; Charlotte
as a designer worn by pop royalty--but Step-Dad still
clings to the name that made him a star, even if he's the
only original member. "In Pieces" is off Foreigner's
recent "Can't Slow Down" album, featuring Lou Gramm-clone
            Kelly Hansen.

            Full-length debut "The Listening" finds
            vocalist/songwriter Valerie Poxleitner delivering a
steady flow of gentle indie-electronic alt-rock that
showcases her sweet voice. Bringing to mind a more
subdued Cyndi Lauper, Lights' music leans heavily toward
melodic and catchy midtempo anthems that percolate
keyboards, beats, and light guitar accents, something
along the lines of a Daft Punk-junior dorm room
chanteuse. To these ends, tracks like the brightly
pulsating lead-off cut, "Saviour," make for perfect
            late-night, low-key disco.

2010 is the year that a lot of female artists, from Laura
Marling to Duffy to Adele, will face the eternal pop
dilemma of what to do on that difficult second album. Few
have it as hard as Scottish singer-songwriter Amy
Macdonald, whose 2007 debut "This Is The Life" sold over
three million copies and went to No. 1 in five countries.
But "A Curious Thing", recorded at Paul Weller's home
studio in Surrey and featuring guest spots from the
Modfather, doesn't sound as though Macdonald is sweating
it. The collection is defined by Amy's rootsy Celtic
voice and her intolerance of the famous idiots she has
met since her first album, a subject that gives "Spark"
            to several tunes.

When Ben Montague's debut single "Can't Hold Me Down" was
playlisted on Radio 2 for an impressive five weeks, it
signified the gifted singer-songwriter as one of the UK's
brightest melodic rock talents. Hand-picked as tour
support by acclaimed guitarist Joe Bonamassa, Montague
won fans by the thousands, including racing supremo Eddie
Jordan, who was impressed enough to invite him to perform
in front of 18,000 people at Silverstone as part of his
all-star band alongside rock legends Roger Daltrey and
Nick Mason. It has all added up to a rigorous
road-testing for the material that makes up Ben's debut
album, which includes the deep-felt melancholia of
            "Haunted".

Sure, we just lost Lil' Wayne for a year or so, but just

Christina Aguilera takes a notoriously long time between
albums--the upcoming "Bionic" is merely her fourth
English disc--but this time the artist formerly known as
Xtina had good reason: Aguilera delivered a son in
January 2008. As far back as '07 she was saying that her
follow-up to 2006's "Back To Basics" would be "short,
sweet, and completely different" and would sound
"futuristic", so she brought in less mainstream
collaborators like Goldfrapp, Le Tigre, and Ladytron to
complement the Tricky Stewarts and Polow Da Dons. Early
results? "Not Myself Tonight" is a sleek, horny mombot.

mention he's still in college! Posner chose to return to
Duke University after signing his record deal, and he's
currently touring and recording on weekends. His debut

            GIN WIGMORE - Oh My
            874P-06.mp3
            (0:07 / 04:17 / C / 136 bpm / 10.12 MB / CHR, Hot AC)

Already a star in her native New Zealand, Virginia
Wigmore makes her global debut with the release of "Holy
Smoke", an album that shoots to bridge the gap between
neo-soul and rock & roll. On paper Gin Wigmore certainly
has the makings of a pop star: she's blonde, brazen, and
named after a liquor, even if her raspy alto sounds more
whiskey-soaked than gin-splashed. She also surrounds
herself with some of the industry's most competent
characters, from former Ryan Adams cohorts The Cardinals
(who perform every track here) to veteran hip-hop
producer Mike Elizondo. Although Wigmore is a vocalist in
the tradition of Duffy and Winehouse and The Cardinals
are a country-rock outfit, the tug-of-war creates the
            listenable tension of "Oh My".
FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS - She Likes (Bittersweet Love)
            874P-07.mp3
            (0:15 / 02:48 / C / 131 bpm / 6.69 MB / Hot AC)

            While browsing band-networking site PureVolume.com,
Forever The Sickest Kids singer Jonathan Cook
"accidentally" spent $350 that the brand-new band didn't
have to receive primo placement of a song they hadn't
written. Upon hearing the news, the rest of the group
rushed into the studio to write and record "Hey
Brittany". In an incident worthy of the "No Way!" file,
the song, once posted, triggered an eight-label bidding
war! (Universal Motown won that smackdown.). "She Likes
(Bittersweet Love)" will totally have listeners working
for "The Weekend: Friday", the band's latest EP.
CIVIL TWILIGHT - Letters From The Sky
            874P-08.mp3
            (0:22 / 04:30 / C / 74 bpm / 10.63 MB / Hot AC)

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Civil Twilight is a
power trio that draws parallels to Muse, Pilot Speed, and
other like-minded bands with impassioned vocals and
stirring, alt-rock songcraft. Brothers Andrew and Steven
McKeller were raised in a musical household, having
explored their father's jazz collection and listened to
their classically-trained mother play piano. The
McKellars spent several years practicing in church halls
and garages before graduating to the local club scene.
Moving to Los Angeles in 2005, the band received a boost
when several of their songs were featured in prime-time
television shows. That led to last year's self-titled
debut disc, which includes "Letters From The Sky".
            CARY BROTHERS - Ghost Town
            874P-09.mp3
            (0:14 / 03:43 / C / 130 bpm / 8.80 MB / Hot AC)

Wry, thoughtful singer/songwriter Cary Brothers broke
into the mainstream with the single "Blue Eyes", the
gorgeously articulate ballad from 2004's Grammy-winning,
hipster-showcasing soundtrack to "Garden State". Brothers
attended college with Zach Braff, the movie's writer,
director, and star, and after graduation both moved to
L.A., where Braff rounded out his acting résumé and
Brothers partnered with a friend to open a small
production company that produced, among other things, the
Freddie Prinze, Jr., movie "Sparkler". Developing an
appreciation for country-folk music, Cary began playing
around Los Angeles, where he found his musical voice in
addition to co-creating The Hotel Café Tour, currently in
            its fourth year.
SCOUTING FOR GIRLS - This Ain't A Love Song[Radio Edit]
            874P-10.mp3
            (0:11 / 03:07 / C / 89 bpm / 7.39 MB / Hot AC)

The whimsical indie-pop group Scouting For Girls formed
in 2005 in London, playfully modeling their name after a
scouting handbook ("Scouting For Boys") published early
in the 20th century. Members Greg Churchouse, Peter
Ellard, and Roy Stride signed with Epic Records in early
2007 and released their first single, "It's Not About
You", that June. Soon after, the band's self-titled debut
reached the top slot on the UK album charts, thanks to
the popularity of such singles as "She's So Lovely",
"Elvis Ain't Dead", and "Heartbeat". "Everybody Wants To
Be On TV" hit shelves in early April. But don't worry,
            "This Ain't A Love Song".
            RED - Ordinary World
            874P-11.mp3
            (0:15 / 04:11 / C / 65 bpm / 9.89 MB / Hot AC)

Among the most anticipated rock releases of 2009,
"Innocence & Instinct" ratcheted up Christian metal
foursome Red's fierce attack with vivid musical imagery
and intensely pounding sonic dissonance. The band chalked
up over 500 gigs on the road following their '06 debut,
earning tour spots with the likes of Papa Roach,
Sevendust, and Buckcherry. Drawing upon Dante's "Inferno"
for inspiration, the new record explores the duality of
man. Fans who drove Red's debut over the quarter-million
mark will find songs like "Ordinary World" even more
            intense and unstoppable.
JOAN ARMATRADING - This Charming Life
            874P-12.mp3
            (0:10 / 03:53 / C / 101 bpm / 9.19 MB / Hot AC)

Joan Armatrading dives headfirst into rock & roll on
"This Charming Life", which finds the venerable
singer/songwriter picking up an electric guitar and
letting it howl. Armatrading produced the disc and played
all the instruments save drums, and it represents the
toughest and most aggressive music she's recorded since
the early '80s. At 59, Armatrading is more than up to the
challenge of sharing space with the noisy guitars, and
the force of the music is fully the equal of the passion
of its songs. Nearly 40 years after the release of her
first album, "This Charming Life" leaves no doubt that
the St. Kitts native has few peers in songcraft.
            FOREIGNER - In Pieces
            874P-13.mp3
            (0:14 / 03:52 / F / 72 bpm / 9.15 MB / Hot AC)

When Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones married socialite Ann
Dexter-Jones, his band was entering their early-'80s peak
as arena-rocking hitmakers. With that union he also
inherited Dexter-Jones three' children from her previous
marriage to real-estate entrepreneur Laurence Ronson:
Mark, Samantha, and Charlotte. Nowadays it's the Ronsons
            whom the kids all know--Mark as Amy Winehouse's producer;
            LIGHTS - Saviour
            874P-14.mp3
            (0:04 / 03:28 / C / 109 bpm / 8.21 MB / Hot AC)

            Full-length debut "The Listening" finds
            vocalist/songwriter Valerie Poxleitner delivering a
steady flow of gentle indie-electronic alt-rock that
showcases her sweet voice. Bringing to mind a more
subdued Cyndi Lauper, Lights' music leans heavily toward
melodic and catchy midtempo anthems that percolate
keyboards, beats, and light guitar accents, something
along the lines of a Daft Punk-junior dorm room
chanteuse. To these ends, tracks like the brightly
pulsating lead-off cut, "Saviour," make for perfect
            late-night, low-key disco.
            AMY MACDONALD - Spark
            874P-15.mp3
            (0:06 / 03:04 / C / 134 bpm / 7.31 MB / Hot AC)

            BEN MONTAGUE - Haunted
            874P-16.mp3
            (0:16 / 03:31 / C / 60 bpm / 8.25 MB / AC, Hot AC)

When Ben Montague's debut single "Can't Hold Me Down" was
playlisted on Radio 2 for an impressive five weeks, it
signified the gifted singer-songwriter as one of the UK's
brightest melodic rock talents. Hand-picked as tour
support by acclaimed guitarist Joe Bonamassa, Montague
won fans by the thousands, including racing supremo Eddie
Jordan, who was impressed enough to invite him to perform
in front of 18,000 people at Silverstone as part of his
all-star band alongside rock legends Roger Daltrey and
Nick Mason. It has all added up to a rigorous
road-testing for the material that makes up Ben's debut
album, which includes the deep-felt melancholia of
            "Haunted".
