"All In" is the fourth full length CD
release by Son of Rose, the recording
project of sound and video artist Kamran
Sadeghi. A release inspired by the idea
of collectivism and the atmosphere that
is experienced in a time of change, "All
In" has an embracing effect with it's
long form structure, subtle yet
surprising transitions, and modulating
transcendent tone.

Following the 2007 release "Divisions In
Parallel", Son Of Rose continues his
approach of using real-time digital
signal processing combined with various
objects interacting with the strings of
a piano. Integral to Sadeghi's process
is his willingness to locate and explore
unconventional sounds from formal and
pop music instruments , often times
rendering the original source nearly
unrecognizable. The "All In" studio
sessions rely on live takes in order to
capture the holistic immediacy of each
composition, keeping post production
alterations to a minimum.

"All In" is comprised of recordings made
between 2004 and 2009, and was made
possible in part by a grant from the
City of Seattle Office of Arts &
Cultural Affairs. The album art includes
a series of vibrant, abstract and
geometric photographs by Sadeghi,
serving the listener's eyes with
sensations similar to what is in store
for their ears.
