Ama Recordings is Ray Okpara's label out of Mannheim, Germany. Amaefule,
Ray's middle name in fact, literally means "your name will never get
lost" and it symbolizes the strength of identity we create through music.
Ama is also derived from the Latin meaning of love and the philosophy of
the label is born out of the affection held for conceiving and sharing
quality electronic music. There are no rules about what Ama Recordings
will sound like, but it comes from the heart, so expect true house values
to be maintained at all times with a natural tip towards the deep and
dubby. This first release comes from Paolo Martini & Paul C and is
entitled the 'Special One E.P.' with 3 tracks of driving, hypnotic
grooves including a great remix from Johnny D. Having careers spanning 25
and 15 years respectively, these guys know what it takes to make a hit
and work a dancefloor. Martini (as part of Bini & Martini) was one of the
most profilic house producers around at the turn of the millennium and as
a result toured the world as one of the most in-demand producers on the
scene, including working with major labels like Strictly Rhythm, EMI,
Universal and Sony. Paul C's has honed his production skills since the
mid 90s, which has lead to his work being released on many labels under
many monikers. Since 2009, together with Paolo Martini.
