Release Notes:
You are looking at Vol. 5: 1999-2009, the 2CD ten
year anniversary present of Forgotten Tomb to its
fans. Forgotten Tomb are no doubt the maestros of
Depressive Black Doom Metal and to celebrate their
ten year existence they have decided to re-record
some of their finest tracks with a better quality
than ever before witnessed. Not only are the songs
re-recorded, they are also re-arranged and some
even contain updated lyrics. To top it all off
they have also decided to add some bonus tracks in
the shape of covers of Black Sabbath, Nirvana and
Black Flag. Not convinced? It also contains a
never before released track called ôSpectres Over
Veniceö. No this is definitely not a best
of/compilation album, itÆs much more than that.
Presentation is also not lacking, they provide 120
lucky people with the opportunity to purchase a
limited edition box that includes a zippo stamped
with the FT logo and an exclusively embroidered
patch. The booklet also contains never before seen
pictures from live concerts and liner notes by
Herr Morbid himself, along with the updated lyrics
of course. If by now you are not convinced you
should own this, I donÆt think you ever will be.
