Curious, beguiling record for Thrill Jockey by the UK's Alexander Tucker and New
Zealand's Daniel Beban together they form Imogodom. Borne from the days where
Beban worked nights as a BBC world service radio engineer, the pair took
advantage of the empty studios, while Tucker and Beban dusted off the disused
reel to reel tape machines and put them to work. Splicing together tape loops,
the duo dove into the lost art of tape editing with results that range from
seasick, narcotic drones to swooshing Radiophonic electronic impulses.
