Yes Serj has a distinctive voice. Yes he is a talented chap. Sadly this lacks
the depth of any of the System of a Down releases. As they say, you're only as
good as your last war. Even the la-la-la sections fail to distract the ear from
realising that this is a plodding, pointless affair that exhibits a positive
correlation curve between repeated listens and annoyance. Plus he's smoking on
the cover. Come on Serj - you might have founded a political activist
organisation but you surely need to be aware of the social implications of
foisting corporate tobacco addiction on the world's youth whilst ignoring the
ecological impact of intensively farmed tobacco. Sorry - you started me off with
your clumsy slogans on your record sleeves and your bad music.
