█ heart, this album could have been the album of the █
█ summer. But, as we full-well know, timing is never █
█ right, so letÆs not worry too much about that. █

█ No, itÆs not another illusory sensation of dΘjα-vu; █
█ itÆs safe to say that the rumbling bassline piercing █
█ Days Of Rage has indeed been tickling our █
█ underbellies for some time now, and weÆve already got █
█ the lyrics to ThreeÆs A Crowd down to a T. Though █
█ this album carves a soundscape from start to finish █
█ that seems all too familiar in places, it retains an █
█ enigmatic and seductive quality that keeps us on our █
█ toes and through this culmination of sensations the █
█ true beauty of the album is sought. █

█ Awakening our senses to a instrumental symphony, High █
█ Tide unveils its innocent puppy eyes and begs for our █
█ forgiveness having long left us in the dark. Sombre, █
█ silky-soft piano notes and seductive strings treat █
█ softly, luring us in like a kid drawn toward a candy █
█ store. As the perfect prelude to markedly dynamic █
█ album, this track dissolves every vestige of apathy █
█ we had toward this recordÆs release and instead weÆre █
█ intrigued, enticed, you name it û IÆm in love. Tall █
█ Tale clambers in, boastful and bashful all at once. █
█ Slinky piano arpeggios slither under and over a █
█ concord of strings, fading out into a sub-aquatic, █
█ airless chasm, progressively sinking and re-emerging █
█ into a lush melody. █

█ Nuanced with the sound of an archived Calibre track, █
█ Let It Be has an addictive, glistening energy that █
█ calls for a classic hands-in-the-air moment. This █
█ track is the perfect testimony to A.IÆs approach to █
█ this album; theyÆre not shy of wearing their heart of █
█ their sleeve. We're instantly nostalgic yet also █
█ strangely elated; a sensation that reoccurs █
█ throughout this album. Though not quite making it █
█ into my top-three, Rubber Bullets certainly warrants █
█ a mention: a frenzy of hollow, stuttering drums and █
█ grating, shuffling snares is a jarring cacophony of █
█ sound that really gets under your skin. IÆm bizarrely █
█ mesmerised by it all. Swiftly followed by Audio █
█ Assault, a track with Krust, I can safely say itÆs █
█ the best migraine IÆve ever had. █

█ Pigeon Hole Æs spine-tingling and body-wobbling bass █
█ is a nod to in-your-face DnB, a sure-fire route to █
█ ass-shaking and, whilst steering well clear of █
█ jump-up, I must say this track has a timeless █
█ resonance that makes it instantly appealing. █
█ Unforgettable is your token moving track. Soaked in █
█ soul yet anchored by a beefy, undulating bass, █
█ thereÆs definitely no need for the Andrex tissues. █
█ █
█ █
█ Though tangled amidst the flurry of releases to come █
█ out of the drum and bass treasure chest in the last █
█ year-or-so, Stand Alone seems to do exactly what it █
█ says on the tin. The outro, Stand Alone is an █
█ introspective interlude pieced together by drawn-out █
█ vocal snippets, before majestically stumbling into █
█ the breakdown. It is both the pinnacle and meditative █
█ finale of an experimental and beautifully crafted █
█ album. And, though itÆs been a long time coming, itÆs █
█ hats off to A.I for this one. █

Û Pigeon Hole s spine-tingling and body-wobbling bass Û
Û is a nod to in-your-face DnB, a sure-fire route to Û
Û ass-shaking and, whilst steering well clear of Û
Û jump-up, I must say this track has a timeless Û
Û resonance that makes it instantly appealing. Û
Û Unforgettable is your token moving track. Soaked in Û
Û soul yet anchored by a beefy, undulating bass, Û
Û theres definitely no need for the Andrex tissues. Û

Û Though tangled amidst the flurry of releases to come Û
Û out of the drum and bass treasure chest in the last Û
Û year-or-so, Stand Alone seems to do exactly what it Û
Û says on the tin. The outro, Stand Alone is an Û
Û introspective interlude pieced together by drawn-out Û
Û vocal snippets, before majestically stumbling into Û
Û the breakdown. It is both the pinnacle and meditative Û
Û finale of an experimental and beautifully crafted Û
Û album. And, though its been a long time coming, its Û
